Skiti
The name Skiti comes from the greek word ‘’askiteia’’ which means asceticism. This would probably mean that old monks used to lead an ascetic’s life here. North-west of Skiti exist ruins of a fortress, Byzantine presumably.

See the small church of Prophet Ilias, the “Bubble” fount, the forestal observatory, and various churches.

Wander in the beautiful narrow streets of Skiti, be dazed by the yards with the flowers, hear sounds old and forgotten, feel the joy that gives us the contact with nature.
